You may notice that some muscles in your upper body / torso tire more quickly than normal while using Baxby.
That's normal! It's because you are activating muscles to hold yourself in a position that haven't been used properly in a long time.
You're literally getting stronger in that position. You're improving your posture.
Congrats!
How to Use Baxby
"X" marks the spot where Baxby and body meet!
For chairs without a headrest, such as a typical office chair...
- It's easiest to buckle the 2 side straps first.
- Then slide Baxby over the backrest of the chair. Just get it on there to start...it doesn't have to be perfectly placed.
- Take a seat and find out where Baxby meets your body. Start adjusting the position and the straps so that Baxby comes into contact with your spine right between your shoulders.
- You can make micro-adjustments with the removable pad to dial in a perfect fit for your body. Remember, the goal is to get your shoulders and head back to a centered position with your body.
For chairs with a headrest, such as a typical chair in a vehicle...
- If possible, start by placing the vertical strap in between the seatback and the headrest...that little space that's created when the headrest is raised up.
- Buckle the side straps. You may need to do this from the back side of the chair.
